Post You Might Have Missed: Amazon Is Sticking It To Kontera With Context Links Beta

I was just browsing through all my affiliate programs to check on new offers and stats when I found out that Amazon just released their Beta Context Links program. What it is for sure is very similar to Kontera where it links to Amazon products via specific relevant phrases within our blog content. I guess their tagline says it all - ‘You create the content. We’ll link it.’

Their added features are being able to limit the total number of ads to appear and controlling the delivery of the ads. As an example, you can disable the hovering effect of the links by just making them direct links and also choose which Amazon category to apply.

The other important feature is the ability to choose either exact matching of product names or leaving it loose. This will surely benefit those blogs or sites which covers specific product topics such as audio equipments, computer hardware or PS2 gaming blogs among many others.

Setting it up is pretty straight forward by placing their ad script just before the tag in your blog template and you’re ready to go. You can see it working almost immediately at most after 2 refreshes.
